You're right! It
is more disturbing to us! I'm convinced that they do this b/c their nose is not big enough to take in all that air when they get excited. So when they try to breathe fast it's like their nose is stuffy. Once they regulate their breathing and breathe through their mouth, they go back to normal. But, I'm not a doctor and it's just my guess!
