Hey everyone, since I didn't get much of a response in the general forum, I'll repost my issue here.

Before joining this site, I lurked for awhile. Thanks to the really good info I got here, I decided to slowly switch his food from Purina puppy chow (the breeder used this) to Wellness just for puppy. While Teddy really seems to like the Wellness kibble, he has been pooping a lot more. Was not expecting that. Seriously though, he's gone from 3 stools/day on puppy chow to 5-6 stools/day on Wellness. All have been firm, not runny or anything. It took about 3 weeks to switch over. Is he still adjusting to the new food or is there another issue I'm not thinking of? I thought once I switched him to a better quality food that he would poop less. Any thoughts? Teddy has a vet appt scheduled in 2 days for another set of shots so I'll ask then anyways. Thanks in advance!
