I also work during the day and Emilio stays home in his crate with his potty, bed, food, water and toys....I bought him a big crate so he has plenty of room. He does just fine, I try to tire him out in the morning before I leave and then he is ready to play when I get home. She will be fine, I definately agree with the person that said they can sense your feelings, so make it a happy thing. Try giving her a treat to take to her crate or pen, talk in a happy voice when you are putting her in there and tell her good girl. She will do fine. Congrats on the career opportunity!
