Hi guys,

I have a question and a slight concern and was hpoing you could help me. Two weeks ago I brought home Maisie, a 16 week old Yorkie bitch pup. I already have a Chihuahua bitch, Ellie, and I am now concerned that Maisie will grow too large for Ellie. When I got Maisie she weighed about 3lb, and her breeder ( a very reputable, experienced, respected breeder) told me she would make about 4lb. On further discussion she told me probably 5lb actually. Now, 2 weeks later Maisie weighs 4lb and all the charts I've found on line state she will be about 6lb as an adult. I know I should probably trust the breeder as I know she kows what she's talking about but I'm just not sure. If she's put on 1lb in 2 weeks, will she continue to grow to be too big?

D'you guys think she'll make this size? I am really worried she may end up being too large to have with Ellie.

Please help by giving me your opinions, you guys are all so knowledgable and experienced I would really value your thoughts.
