They have not been unattended at all whatsoever. I have a little trick...I put them in the ex-pen right outside my back door because it is glass and I can stand there and look through the blinds without my male knowing. He got to the 6 pound female once when he thought I wasn't looking and was turned around and tied, but then I went to assist them and the female pulled him away.
He has not done anything other than sniff the 7 pound female. He won't even try to hump her- even when he thinks I am not looking. I know for a fact that he has not gotten to her. That's the problem...he just seems to have NO interest in her at all. She is definitely ready so I am taking her to be bred. |
