Samson loves to play fetch but one thing I will say is he is a lot better at it in the house rather than outside. Inside I just started throwing it and saying "go get it" even though he usually would do that on his own, then I started saying "bring it to momma" and it didn't take long before he knew that to keep playing he had to bring it back to me. Try to use a really excited voice when you're telling him to get it and bring it back. He should catch on.
I think outside there are too many other distractions so sometimes he'll run to it when I throw it but won't bring it back. |
