Take in consideration, that there is more animosity between the same gender. I know a lot of member here are going to disagree, but I do think size matters. If there is ever a fight, one should not be much bigger than the other. I know there are tons of eceptions, but, in't better to prevent, than cry latter? Good luck . By the way, I see a lot of malteses pairing with yorkies. It seems they get along well. Interesting enough, my trixie is being babbysat in a house with eight dogs.
