I would just be careful not to give your puppy human food too often, I have personally gone through a problem with my yorkie--my mother started feeding him scraps and eventually he would not eat his dog food, she stopped feeding him human food but the problem persisted for months afterward.
But I'm sure a few natural foods now and again would be okay as a treat
