I talked with our vet yesterday about Sophie's anxiety around my daughter's dogs. She gets diarrhea every time they visit. They plan to come for New Year's, and I asked what we can do to make the visit easier. She had two suggestions. One would be to give Sophie and antibiotic to try to prevent the diarrhea. The other would be to use an anti-anxiety drug. She said we could try either. We could choose. I am leaning toward the anti-anxiety. Has anyone else had this experience or tried this?
