Okay! I was the 2nd to last leg. Made great time to Casey! It was a beautiful drive, lots of tree's still in color. It's pretty rural from my house to Casey! We made the handoff, he was such a good boy. He was very mellow and laid down in my lap for the drive home. When we got to my house, I sat him down to meet my boys. His tail immediately started wagging! I think he was happy to be out of the car and be around other dogs again! Paula and Terri arrived a little later, after the infamous traffic violation! Koda is such a well adjusted dog. He never got nervous or anxious, just rolled with the flow the whole time. He was chillin on the couch on the blankies and then running through my house with the boys shortly after we arrived. I've never seen a dog with such an easy temperment. He laid down beside me on the couch and I thought to myself...He is an example of why people love Yorkies sooo much! He's an angel. I was honored to be involved in getting him to his wonderful new forever home. Terri was talking softly to him on the couch and he was looking at her and turning his head like he knew she was going to love and care for him for the rest of his life. AND... I got to meet my sister/bestie Paula/Diggy for the first time after knowing her over 2 years online. They weren't here very long because they had such a long drive back, but it was awesome to get to meet Paula, Terri, Avery and Kayla. It was hard to let Koda go, he's so precious. But he is going to have a great life with his new mommy Terri! I'll post pics in just a few! Thanks for the good thoughts everyone! This was a success and I was glad to be a part of it!
