Not me, but you know who
.
Gus looks at me, and his eyes tell me, "I'm bored, give me something challenging to do".
I won't list everything I've tried to keep him occupied, and challenged. The only thing that works is getting into endless mischief if I don't offer an alternative. The most frustrating, though, is playing fetch. I throw the toy, and he sits and watches it fly across the room, and then watches me fetch it. The second most frustrating is walks. He won't walk away from the house. So, I carry him for a few blocks, knowing he'll walk back. If there is a neighbor in the yard, he stops and stares at them, and won't continue the walk.
I wonder if having a Yorkie playmate would be a positive experience for Gus, i.e., a playmate he will play with & not quickly get bored with. I did see an add for a Yorkie that I like a lot on another YT message board. However, I don't think I can realistically get him.
