Default Search and Destroy Mission

Well, Chewie isn't quite as cooperative. Hand feeding works (sometimes) but when it comes down to "dressing up" his dry kibble - NOTHING will work. Placing interesting bits in it only make for a gargantuan MESS with his kibble all over the floor of his crate and the "goodies" in his tummy. I'm trying tough love, but wondering if I just need to find something else to appeal to his palate. He was eating the Royal Canin initially, and has scoffed at Solid Gold, Nutro, Avoderm, as well as assorted grocery store junk food.

We've run the gamut, but now I think we might try some Artemis or Canidae. I just need to find a store around me with SAMPLES so that we don't lug home a bag for him to dislike! (I know... You can return it... But I never save the receipt or remember to - Everyone we know who has un-picky pets has benefitted from our trial and error process!)

Anyhow, sure wish that something would convince our Chewie to eat the dry food. In the morning he eats about 1/4 of a container of Cesar as a treat, and then he sometimes eats his dry in the evening. We've become a little soft and given him the beef roll stuff in with the dry food lately in the evening in the hopes of enticing him to eat the dry food. Didn't work. So we're back to the tough love approach. He'll eat. I'm sure. But I certainly would like for him to ENJOY his food.
