The best way to train her to accept a topknot is to start with a very light grooming band and get her used to that first. After you get the topknot in, distract her with a Kong or flossie so she won't try to rub it out.
When she is used to the feel of having a topknot, you can add a bow. I always recommend bows on bands to my customers since they are lighter and barrettes are also a choking hazard. |
