Confused It's over but will it be counted?

Well, this was one experience I never want to repeat. I waited in line for 3 hours and the result was that they would not let me vote because my registration was in limbo. Even when I showed them my paycheck, my bank statement and my electricity bill all with my current address, they would not let me vote. I told them what the clerk said on the phone but they were unmoved.

Get this - they did let me take an absentee ballot which I completed and returned to them and they accepted. Can you believe it? They said they don't know if it will be accepted or not when it is time to count the absentee ballots, but they did take it.

I am quite upset about this and my governor, state congressman, senator, mayor, and you can bet the clerk of courts are all getting lovely letters from me. I will not be spraying perfume on them. A little eau de skunk is more like it!
