One thing in Pumpkin's favor is that she loves everyone and since we've had her, about 24 hrs, she has gone to the door and asked to be let out to go to the poop. She doesn't bark, but runs around in little circles. We call it her "happy dance". She does it when she gets excited.
We gave her lots of praise. We've taken her out ever so often so she doesn't get a chance to have an accident, and she has indicated she wanted out more than once and peed. I think she is going to be real easy to potty train. We are crossing our fingers. The breeder did not tell us that she was potty trained so I'm assuming they hadn't been working on that. Maybe she picked it up from the other dogs. She seems to be very smart. |
