My female yorkie recently passed away and we wanted to replace the hole in our hearts too. We decided to get a Maltese instead. My hubby said that any female yorkie we got, would never be as good as her, and he didn't want to compare her with the one that was the love of our lives. Im really really happy with my Maltese. She is so sweet and awesome. I hope you feel better soon with your new baby. Maybe your still grieving your Ruby, and having a hard time letting go
