Today is my day to be annoyed. My registration never went through changing my address and now I'm stuck.
When I called last week asking where my card was, they told me I can't vote at the polls because my reigstration wasn't received in time - I sent it in several months ago when I had trouble voting in a local election, they just didn't get it processed in time!
so now since my registration has my old address on it and the application has a new address but because I don't have my card yet - I can't vote!
So now I can only vote if I go to the City Clerk's office and vote early - which means standing in line outside for hours.
I'm glad it's not cold outside this weekend - we're having a spurt of 50s! And I'm taking my walker with the seat on it cause I know I can't stand for more than a few minutes. So, OK that's enough now. I feel better having gotten that off my chest.
