Thanks for all the advice everyone! We tried our usual routine last night, and she was perfect! Not a peep put of her, which is pretty much the way it always has been. I'm not sure why she freaked out the other night, maybe she was cold, had a bad dream, or got bit by a spider or something, I'm not sure. I stayed in bed thid morning while my hubby went to do someearly morning errands. I wanted to see the way Roxy reacts when she hears us leave the house, so my husband put her back in her crate and left. She went crazy for about 10 mins, similar to how she was barking the other night. After 10 mins, she calmed down a bit and would bark and whine every few mins. This went on for about 25 mins before she calmed down. My husband was only gone for about an hour, so I think we will have to practice putting her in her crate and leaving the house over and over again throughout the day because i think she definitly does have some seperaton anxiety.

There are a few reasons why we don't have Roxy sleep on the bed with us - I don't trust her bladder yet, she can hold herself for over 8 hours in her crate, but that is because she won't pee where she sleeps. We let her in our room before while we were both in there getting ready one day and she loved hopping around on our bed, but then she went and peed on it! Also, my husband is a very restless sleeper and he would either squish her or kick her off the bed every night. I would love it if one day she would be able to sleep on our bed, but it won't be for some time yet.
