Oh thank so much, while pondering how to make the legs for Joey's spider, Bchgirl told me she saw a spider at Walmart that would be about the right size. I just hot glued a wide strip of Velcro on the spider and sewed another strip of Velcro on a black hoodie. Joey's front legs were just covered with the feet cut from black panty hose. If I had known it would have turned out so well I would have gone to a little more trouble.
A tip, if you make the costume, I suggest you put the spider in the room for a few days, and let your dog get accustomed to it, it really freaked him out the first day he saw it, but after sniffing and biting it a few times he didn't mind wearing it.
I meant to say, I love the categories mods have chosen and forgot to congratulate all the other winners; I'm getting the big head.
Thanks to the YorkieTalk staff for all the extra work involved in this contest, and to all those who donated, and participated. I've enjoyed the Halloween thread for the two years since I joined, and this is the first year we participated, but I've always gotten a lot of pleasure out of looking at all the pictures.
