Now that we don't have kids at home I am not enjoying Halloween as much as I did in the past. (I was once a Halloween nut) We don't know anyone with kids nearby, and we only have two boys in our neighborhood. Sooo, we put Sophie's pumpkin costume on and went to visit my in-laws in the assisted living home in the small town 11 miles away. They loved seeing her, and the residents were lined up in chairs in the lobby of the place giving out candy from orange buckets to little kids who came in from the community. It was fun. My mother in-law had to take Sophie around to show her off.
