You can see my "blog" for step-by-step instruction on getting them use to it. http://www.yorkietalk.com/forums/blo...ally-work.html I've got to say, though, I just took him to his breeder, and she was able to clip his nails much shorter, and so much faster, so much of the trick is holding their nail paw firmly when you file or clip, the vibration is what cause the discomfort. Holding the nail clipper or file at the proper angle is extremely important too.
