Default what kind of shampoo for a full coated yorkie

Hiya,

I am new here and I am a groomer.

I have a request Yorkie that I groom on a regular basis.

She is in full coat, with a pull up topknot; the whole works.

I am looking into a shampoo that would work better with her coat than the one my salon uses.

She isn't exactly to standard. She has a very thick coat. It is pretty dry at the ends as well. In fact, the hair has almost stopped growing at the ends of her skirt and I am assuming it is because of damage.

She has the type of coat that no matter how matted or tangled up it is, it can be brushed out. Its not a single/silky coat that a the standard calls for. It is very long and straight though.

I use a Chris Christenson(spelling) brush on her. Never a slicker.

I was wondering if anyone has any tips on what kind of shampoo and/or sprays I could use on her to improve her coat. And tips on how to work on her coat.

(ps I have a Maltese I kept in full coat, but with this Yorkie her coat type is totally different. WHat I did for Skwooshee, my Malt, doesn't really work for her)

Thanks a bunch
