Hi all,
This is going to be a bit long, so bear with me. Before we adopted Humphrey, we had all this plans on getting new cool furniture. He came to us in the middle of everything, the flat is completely refurbished in terms of walls, flooring, lighting and tiling. However, we are still missing the new furniture and we are a bit scared about investing money on leather sofas, knowing Humps might just rip them apart.
He is not a destructive dog, but he loves watching tv on the sofa and since he isnt that tall, he often needs to try jumping on the sofa a few times before he finally makes it and he obviously uses paws, nails, teeth to pull himself up.
Also, we have just begun leaving him on his own for long-ish periods of time and he has been sooo wonderful (he's only 4 months btw). But I am afraid he might get bored and start scratching the sofas or trying to dig them up once he is on them.
Have any of you experienced something simillar? any suggestions?
