My yorkie has a blue leather collar and he has worn it for about about 2 weeks and he keeps scratching at it. I thought that after a couple of days then it would be fine, but it isn't. If take the collar off of him for a day he doesn't scratch beyond more than probably once a day? But with the collar on he scratches at it constantly

Does he just need longer to get use to it or is it a possible allergy to the material?
