I have 2 dogs. I got my 2nd when my first was 2 yrs old. I think they like each other's company when I'm not home. And when I am home they play together, so I think my Chewy is now happier that we have Chloe? At first Chewy hated Chloe, but after a few days they got used to each other. I think they love each other and are happy to be together.
