How true! I am retired and help my daughter take care of hers, but there is NO WAY anyone who is conscientious is going to get rich over night breeding dogs! If you show, breed for better show dogs, and sell a few along the way, you might make enough money to help support your habit in a small way.

And what is this deal of getting them to come in heat? And how to get larger litters?? What's up with that?!?!?! these people are NUTS!!!!!

Oh, and I meant to say I know how much she spends on vet bills for shots, tail docking etc. and I also know what she sells them for, and if she breaks even she is happy, and, I think, a little bit surprised.
