Homemade Cinnamon Rolls recipe This is a recipe that my great grandmother used to use when she made us cinnamon rolls years ago. They are so good. Not hard to make.
3/4 c. Sugar
1 egg
1/2 c. Shortening
Cream together:
Add
2 c. flour
1/4 c. milk
Mix until a soft dough. Roll dough out thin- cover dough with brown sugar. Add 1/2 teaspoon butter or margarine every 3 or 4 inch square of dough. Sprinkle with a thin layer of cinnamon. Roll up dough and slice in 1-inch pieces.
Place pieces if cinnamon roll on acookie sheet. Bake at 350 for 15-20 minutes until golden brown.
