Aww honey you will be fine. We usually struggle with them until about a year old ..maybe a bit longer. My Lulu was trained fully and trust worthy by eight months. Now Zoey is thirteen and will still slip here and there. I also have Toby who is almost seven months....he is a work in progress but doing ok.
You just have to be patient...god knows that is hard. Consistent is also a must. Also please don't over baby them now that the weather is changing. If your training for outside keep up with it just dress them warmly.
