Thanks for all your thoughts and prayers, I just wanted to update and I probably won't know much more before Monday.

I have been on the phone and to a couple of vet offices today. I was told over and over that this isn't that uncommon (then how come most of us here have never heard of it happening). I was informed that the office I take her to is probably the best for small dogs in my area or remotely close. The vet my first yorkie went to has retired . 2 vets told me they wouldn't even consider touching her unless they were the one who missed the ovary and even then they would try to have another vet from their office do it. I did find another vet (in the same office I already go to) that wants to do it and he is also interested to see if she has only 1 kidney or if that was a mistake too. He was so sweet and caring, (made me feel much better) and wonderful with Lexi. He is willing to do the surgery at no cost. When/if he does the surgery he wants me to meet him there to talk in person. I also talked to a "specialist" he says the same thing as this vet, that while she is in heat the ovary is 3-4 times larger than it's normal size and should not be big problem to find "if her insides are normal". If she really is missing a kidney there maybe other things not right which could be the reason they couldn't find ovary in the beginning. So for now I just have to wait on these blood test and then decide what to do from there. No matter what the surgery will not be next Tue., however if she is in heat it will probably be done sometime late next week.
