Animal Smiley 019 dog park

I understand your joy! I recently found a new dog park about the same distance my house; it had been there for a while, but I hadn't known about it. It has a small dog area, and a large dog area. The small dog area is rather small, about 150 feet by 100 feet, and has a hose bibb, hose, community water dish, and kiddie wading pool, plus a bench and a couple chairs for people. Very new, and the trees are quite young and small, and many are now LEANING, due to Hurricane Ike. The large dog area is nicer, about one acre, with more benches and a covered ramada! Our Grey See has a couple "cousins", larger dogs, that she plays very well with. She INSISTED on her second visit to the dog park to go into the large dog area because she wanted to play with the larger dogs, as they were her "cousins" size! Well, that didn't last long as one large Lab stepped on her, and it hurt, as Grey See snarled and bared her teeth. Of course, the Lab was unimpressed, but I had to take her back into the small dog area, as the larger dogs obviously aren't her "cousins", and don't know how to treat her gently. In more recent visits, we've found other small dogs, but she STILL wants to play with the BIG DOGS!
