I think it really depends on the husband. My husband is not the barbaric type. Typically, if I want something that badly, he lets me get it. I am not a spoiled wife by any means, we don't have a ton of money. However, if my husband knows that I really love something, he is not one to put his foot down. He's my husband not my dad.
