We pretty much bribbed our yorkie (she is almost 8 months old and just now is getting potty trained good) I take her out all the time (trying to prevent an accident in the house) and say "Lets go potty" then we go outside and I stand there until she goes (I make sure not to play with her. Eventually she gets bored enough she's pees) then as soon as she pottys I take her inside and tell her what a good girl she is, then give her a very small doggy bacon treat. She has gotten to where she knows that if she goes outside, she gets a treat. And I'm sure that I don't give her on if she didn't actually pee or anything. Now all I have to say is "Do you need to go potty?" and she'll go to the door, then as soon as I let her out she usually goes right and does her thing, and as soon as she is inside she sits by her bowl for her treat. She still has some accidents in the house, but this has cut them back a lot. Good luck with you little one, I know it can be frustrating!!
