Her belly lumpy and I have been taking her temperature since October 7 which was 99.3, October 22 it was 99.7, October 28 was 99.3, and today it is 99.0. Isn't this temperature lower than normal? This morning I checked her nipples and there is milk already in the bottom four. Is this ok? Is it common to deliver early? At what point should she not be left alone? She has always been very needy and affectionate and I want to be there for her. Please give any advice you can.
Thanks!
I always count from the first day she is bred. Being that she is sooooooooooo small(that weight is not recommended for breeding), I would never leave her alone. Being that she is sooo tiny and you are consistantly having low temps and milk already, I would take her to the vet ASAP! Better safe than sorry. Since she is so small, she may deliver early. Its very likely you may have to have a c-section and you dont want to wait until its an emergency at 3 AM.
