Thanks for your help! He doesn't smell at all but I read that when they drag their butts on the ground, the anal glands are full. We had a Yorkie for almost 14 years (she passed away in 2005) and I never emptied her glands. But I remember her groomer telling me that she had to empty them once. She was quite snippy about it as well.
