OMG I woke up to 33 this morning! We actually had a freeze warning! We don't get this type of weather until Dec-Feb. We didn't have a warning last night, so most of my plants are still outside
. Dh let the furbies out at 6:30 & didn't last long. They did their business & was at the door in less than 5 min. & went right back to their room w/warm beds & blankies. I let them out again at 8 when it was 38 & they just went out again, it's in the 40's now. I was just commenting last weekend that I was loving the fall weather-but not winter. BRRRRRR I feel for all that deal w/this & worse on a yearly basis. My son just went to MI last week to see his dad, who also raises small breeds. He said they already had snow & they use a garage w/lots of paper when the weather is foul. Dh is picking up sweaters for all of them today. We only had one for Parker. My aunt said that she uses sweat shirt sleeves for hers (peeks). Sounds like a pretty thrifty idea. Good for daily yard uses.
