I think ultimately you'll be glad you got it all done at one time, there 's always a risk when going under anesthesia, but I don't think you would be legally responsible for the work that he did, that you didn't authorize. I do think the prices were excessive, and the range is closer to 5-10 a tooth, although the dewclaws seem about right, but I'm not sure because this was already done for us. I've heard of them snagging them on things when their older, and it can be really painful if they are torn. I think I would be tempted to find a new vet too. Finding a vet that you can trust is really important part of owning a dog. Most Yorkies have to have some milk teeth removed, my vet gave me the teeth in a little vial, I hope your vet did too, but I've never heard of anyone needing to remove that many.
