Default 2 1/2 Year Old Yorkie With Arthritus

I posted this last night in the health category. Our 2 1/2 year old yorkie/s**tzu has osteo- arthritis in her left front shoulder and arthritis in her right rear hip. The front leg is ok but the problem is her rear leg. It is so sad to see her not able to walk. It gets so bad she can't even bear weight on it. She is currently on Cosequin Capsules (glucosamine and chondroitin) 500mg/day and 25mg /day of Deramaxx. She had tried Metacam but it caused blood in her stool. She weighs about 17 lbs. Do you know of anything else that will work prescription or otherwise. The vet says the Deramaxx is the best one for her but I don't think so. Any help will be greatly appreciated by both myself and Molly ...thanks.
Cheers
Mike
