 I switched to raw!!!!
I am so excited! I always get so much satisfaction over taking care of my babies to the best of my ability!
I purchased a small pack of the 1oz. lamb medallions (they didn't have chicken), and started, er, tried to start, both of my boys on it for their evening meal.
Well Ryder WENT NUTS for it! Oh my gosh he LOVES it and now he gets so excited before I feed him dinner that he starts jumping and talking to me! I cut it all up with a little salmon oil and VIOLA! Instant gormet!
Unfortunately, Ranger turned his nose up. He wont TOUCH it!! What is up with that? Maybe he doesn't like lamb? I am going to try again when I open up the chicken but I just thought how wierd is that?!? That dog will eat everything, and with vigor!
Ultimately, I am super glad I switched. I just got back from the vet who told me to be extremely careful with my dog food right now because there has recently been ANOTHER problem with the melamine (sp?) and that is has contaminated more dog food and killed many, many dogs in China. He believes it is only time before it happens in the US again. |
