I am not making fun of suicide by any means, but as someone who has experienced it also, I was simply saying that in that moment it felt the same
I can only describe suicide as a loss of hope for the future.... One doesn't even have a minute feeling that it will get better and in that particular moment my feelings about my paper were the same. I apologize that it was interpreted as disrespectful, because I aligned suicide with losing my paper.
