He's a bit older and may not adjust as quickly as a younger puppy. I really think he's frightened by all the recent changes. Be patient, speak to him softly and lots of love ....he'll come around.
On pooping...if nothing going in...nothing comes out.
I would venture to guess he'll probably go later today.
