I understand that the Yorkie puppy can have more tan or gray when the coat changes.
However, ever since Suzi's first professional grooming the top of her head and ears are so grey . She has a bit of tan , on her face where it is suppose to be, and her back is still black, but underneath I see that it is ver light , and changing.
My Suzi just does not have A whole lot of reddish tan like i have seen in some of the pictures of other Yorkies in here.
Her coloring looks like A Yorkie, she is 8 months old and I know will change, I am still very facinated by the color differences in A yorkie.
A man made a comment about Suzi as she was being groomed, abd thought she was an old Dog.
I let him know that she is a pup still then he made a snide remark , saying that his dog was better. I told him That Suzi is A pure bred Yorkie pup , and the he told me he found his "mutt" on the street.
When I read the yorkie coat colors , I believe that Suzi will eventually turn to the steel blue , after the gray ? And that the black coat she has will also change into the same color. Am I correct?
I am learning and Suzi is my first baby, so bear with me. Thanks.
