I went ahead and scheduled her for this Friday......I'm a little nervous about it, but hopefully it will all go smoothly! I figured it was better to do it sooner rather than later....don't want to risk her coming into heat, my dad will be stopping over NEXT Friday night (with his dog)--I'll have to keep an eye on her since it will have been only a week, but I'm hoping by then she'll already be at the very least on her way to being healed, AND I want her to be fully recovered before the chaos that is Thanksgiving (for her so she can play to her heart's content, and for me so I don't have to guard her against playing with other pups--not like I ever take my eyes off her when she's in the room with lots of people and/or a dog that's bigger than her anyway!)

To recap, she will be getting spayed, her left front dewclaw redone, extractions (I think 2??), and possible micro-chipped (if they can get the Home Again....otherwise we'll have to do it sometime later--they used to do Home Again but now do Res-Q, which I do NOT like!) That's a LOT for such a little girl, but I'd rather she only have to suffer throught it and "go under" once instead of multiple times. Please keep her in your thoughts....I'm sure I'll be a bundle of nerves all day Friday!!
