I make mine similar to this one. After I form the loaf, I poke holes in it and put chunks of Velveeta or another american cheese in it....and then close it up. I cover it with ketchup.
After it is baked...at about 45 min to one hour at 350, I remove it immediately from the pan so that it does not absorb the grease.
I also serve it with brown gravy...the canned gravy. I get rave reviews from it! I think it is the cheese that really makes it!
