I live in Asheville,NC and we may have snow flurries today. It's a big deal down south. We have ice storms now and then. I have a 3 year old male poodle of 8 lbs. and 2 female yorkies. One is going to be a year on 11/5 and the other one is 5 months old. After I got my first yorkie I was sold on the breed. The little one was just fixed and is doing fine. I find that they are difficult to potty train. I have a box with a pee-pee pad and I also take them out. The older one uses the box in between walkings if she has to go. The little one is a different story. She goes outside but sometimes in as well. The reward system of a treat outside doesn't work when you are walking 3 dogs. However, oftentimes the poop doesn't make the box. I am still working on it. When I ask "who did that" I get the most perlexed look from both of them. As I said, the poodle was easy and they are a bit of a challenge but well worth it. I, too, am "old" and they keep me young. Best wishes on your vivacious package. Judy
