The best thing you can do is not shield her from noises as well... I like how that one poster said that she says BYBYE to her guy when he gets scared.......lol that's cute...try not to ever coddle her...when she's in a fearful state...because that will just encourage her fearfulness. I would take her and expose her to things that scare her that ...so she can see nothing bad is going to happen to her.
The dog whisperer does teach how to deal with fearful animals....you should check him out! I love his techniques....it's helped several of our dogs...bad thing about a fearful dog is that later they can start biting out of fear...so you don't want it to get any worse.... |
