He seems a little young yet. I would start with just one command - "sit" and work on that for very short periods at a time (5 minutes maybe). Their attention span is short. As soon as your baby has all the required shots I would sign up for a puppy class. The puppy class has done Katy a world of good. She is the first tiny dog I have tried to train. We have always had larger dogs. It is a little different with a yorkie. I found that short training periods work the best and once she lost interest I quit and went back to it later. Good luck! |
