A dog nor a puppy will not starve itself if the means of food are insight most will tell you this. I do not suggest feeding a puppy wet food and only wet food. /You should mix it with dry food if you plan in the future to give him or her dry food the habit will already form of only eating wet food and you will be back to square one. Dry food is very beneficial especially in Yorkies because they are known to have troublesome teeth if not properly taken care of and dry dog food can help with the hygeine!
