Why not try free feeding her again? I don't see why you're reluctant to do that. Particularly if you have just one dog (and therefore no "scavengers" that will eat her food if she doesn't get to it) there really shouldn't be a problem free feeding.
I think you're right that she might be eating her poop because she's hungry. If there's always food available to her, she might stop her bad habit. |
