A good friend of mine took in a poodle rescue. He was 7 years old when she got him and is now 15 years old. I can say that he is very sweet most of the time.
But I don't know if it was because he was a rescue, he only likes my friend. If you get near her when she's holding him, he gets very aggressive. The hubby can't sleep in the same bed at times...lol
Goodluck on your decision. I think taking in a rescue is always the best thing to do
