I dont know why you would feel bad about possibly giving a home to a dog in need....who says it has to be a yorkie?? You should feel good about that! I had a poodle/bichon mix for 17 years! She lived a long and healthy life and was very good natured and smart! I really didnt have any issues with her. As far as the grooming goes it was much the same as the Yorkie...grooming was necessary on a monthly basis. She was all white, which can be a job in itself (keeping them white i mean!) But she was a good dog. I also did daycare for someone that had 2 standard poodles and he loved them! Good dogs!
